Course Materials

Topic Schedule

This is a course of computer graphics for computer science majors. The goals of the course are to give students the general knowledge and concepts of computer graphics and skills of developing graphic system packages. The prerequisites for the course are MTH 207 and 223, CS 302. Therefore I will expect all of you have some knowledge of linear algebra, analytic geometry, calculus, and programming experiences in C language. All the projects will be done in C on Sun Sparc Workstations.

Assignments

There will be three assignments, one on network navigator and other two on developing graphic systems using graphic package and/or C/C++ programming language. You are encouraged to help each other on the assignments, but you can not simply copy from each other. all assignments are due at the class on the due day. Later homework will have 10% subtracted from the score for every late day.

Assignment 45% Tests 30% Final 25%

The public directory, /usr/public/liu in cs1, will be used to post assignments. You are also encouraged to send me email about your questions related to the course or share related information with the class.
