All Correct solvers had the same solution. Bradley was chosen as the winner by a random drawing. Correct solutions were also received from Jeff Thoma, Neel Patel, Burkart Venzke, Jeff Szymona, Anuradha Ratnaweera.

A large (huge!) number of submissions insisted the candle had to be cut. This is entirely unnecessary.

First send M.J. and Ollie over. Then send M.J. back. Now send Libin and Kathy over. Then send Ollie back. Finally, M.J. and Ollie cross again.

Except for interchanging the roles of M.J. and Ollie, this is the only solution.
