Solution to Problem 4

Congratulations to this week's winner

Kevin Bourrillion

There were 7 solutions received. A correct solution was also received from Joshua Beenders.

The answer is: There are seven sports club members and seven sports. There are also a couple of "degenerate" solutions in which there is only one member (not much of a club) or three players all playing the same sport.

Below I've "drawn" the solution below. Interpret the points as being the players and the different colored lines as being the sports. If someone plays the sport, they lie on the line. Note that there are some places where the lines intersect though there is no member playing those two sports. Also note the interesting circular "line"!

For those of you interested in the Puzzler question: One possible title would be "pi".
