PROBLEM 265

The image on the left shows the graphs of y = 5x, in blue; y = x2, in green; and  y = 1.9x, in purple.  The graphs of the first two don't intersect for positive x, while the last two intersect twice there.  For what value(s) of a, if any, do the graphs of ax and x2 have a single intersection for positive x?
